Liverpool celebrations, Carling 2012 - GettyLiverpool sporting director Damien Comolli claimed the League Cup title will have a positive impact for the rest of the gait of the Reds this season.
Comolli assess first championship trophy in six years will make the club and the squad back alive. He was also pleased Liverpool have confirmed the European competition next season, having won the League Cup.
"This is a fantastic achievement and we are also able to return to European competition more quickly," said Comolli.
"We know it will bring positive dynamic for the rest of the season that Liverpool will be undertaken. It is a fantastic way to end the month of February with a trophy, but we know we are still a lot of matches until next May."
